The Borders of Israel Today and After National Suicide

Things to consider

Only a very small percentage of the Israeli population lives in the Negev which makes up the southern half of our country. To get an idea of how much land the Negev encompasses, draw a line across the maps starting from the southern area of the dead sea until the western border of the country. To better illustrate the demographic situation, please look at the following map. When looking at this map, keep in mind that 39% (close to 40%) of the world's Jews in 2003 lived in the land of Israel (Source: http://www.us-israel.org/jsource/History/jewpop2.html). In the following map, the darker areas are those that are most populated. Therefore, it is very easy to conclude that the VAST MAJORITY of 40% of world Jews  live on a stretch of land that is parallel to the Mediterranean sea which is no more than 10 miles wide at most points.

After experiencing the horrors of the holocaust and constantly being at war in our homeland, let's not be naive about the future! We do not live in a friendly neighborhood. We have given up land time and again for worthless pieces of paper with signatures on it. Thinking realistically, if another Arab state suddenly comes into being within our own borders who do not have the friendliest intentions, is it far fetched to predict that our neighbors who have already waged war on us will not see this as an opportunity to wipe us out? Take a second to think realistically of our position. Let me present you with a map of our region.

Keep in mind that Israel is that tiny piece of land highlighted in the map above. Also keep in mind that the highlighted land also includes those territories which the world wants us to give away (Judea and Samaria or also referred to by anti Semites as the west bank)! Imagine how much tinier we will be if we give away those areas!  Once more, think of what it would be like if within the shaded area above you also create another Arab terrorist state! It does not take a genius to figure out that the level of anti-Semitism today is reaching levels that have not even been reached prior to the holocaust!

To wipe out close to 40% of the world's Jews would be an extremely easy task if our neighbors team up against us with the support of the rest of the world! Such massive forces working to wipe out Jews who live in a stretch of land that is 10 miles wide at most points seems to be what we will be facing if we don't make the right decisions today! Do you really think that a signature on a piece of paper will prevent those who hate us so much from waging war on us again? I would be surprised if anyone thinks that the Arab world will never launch another war against us.

Why is a Jewish Presence in Yesha (Yehuda, Shomron, Azza) is Important

* The security of the entire country. If we discontinue our presence in these areas, we would have indefensible borders in our most populated areas. Strategically, these lands are vital as they serve as a security buffer.

* Yehuda, Shomron, Azza and the Golan are ALL parts of our historic land of Israel! We would be abandoning our holiest sites including the cave of the patriarchs in Hebron, Rachel's tomb in Bethlehem, Joseph's tomb in Shchem and a lot more! Is this not Jewish land? If this is not considered to be Jewish land, I don't know what is!

* The scarcity of water is a huge problem in Israel and if you look at the first two maps I presented you will see that today, Israel is in complete control of the sea of Galilee (the Kineret: our only source of freshwater!). If you look at the map next to it, you will see that we will no longer be present around the entire Kineret. Israel will not be able to share such an important resource! You can also notice that we would also have to give up a large area of the dead sea!

* 3912 rockets have already been launched from PLO controlled areas of the Gaza strip. The vast majority have landed in areas such as Gush Katif (a block of Jewish communities on our southern Mediterranean area near the border with egypt) but quite a few have been aimed towards areas out of the Gaza strip and have landed in places like Kibbutz Nahal Oz, Sderot and Ashkelon. If Jews are evacuated from their homes in gush katif, netzarim and gush erez, will the rocket attacks stop? NO! of course not, they will just aim them at Ashkelon and Sderot instead!

* Because of Jewish presence in the Gaza strip, the IDF is capable to take part in operations along the border with Egypt in the Rafiach (Rafah) area. Such operations are important as the IDF has uncovered tunnels in the area which enable the smuggling of weapons from Egypt to the PLO population in Gaza! What happened to our peace treaty with Egypt? Apparently they decided that if they can't overtly attack us, they might as well covertly assist in killing Jews. If we withdraw out of Gaza completely, the smuggling of weapons will without a doubt continue and grow and more Jews will die as a result. In time, I have no doubt that rockets will be hitting Netivot, Ofakim and Ashdod. This will be very dangerous!

* When you buy vegetables in Israel, especially lettuce, it most likely grew in Jewish controlled areas of Gaza under the strictest laws of Kashrut.

* Allow me to present you with a map of the Gaza strip:

In the map above, I encircled the Jewish built up areas of the Gaza strip. The PLO today has complete control of all areas in the Gaza Strip out of the areas I circled. The areas I drew lines over indicate where the main Arab populations are.
